Our company carried out rehabilitation and maintenance works on the Al-Zaafaraniya Bridge and Tunnel. The process began with cleaning and fine sanding of concrete surfaces to remove dust and old coatings, ensuring optimal surface preparation for treatment.
The surfaces were then coated with cement-based material (Semfair FD) to repair defects and gaps and enhance resistance to environmental factors, followed by a primer layer to improve adhesion. Two final coats of anti-carbonation and moisture-resistant plastic paint were then applied to ensure long-lasting protection and enhance the structure’s aesthetic appearance.
The project was executed in accordance with the highest technical standards and under direct engineering supervision, with strict adherence to safety and quality procedures throughout the implementation of both the bridge and tunnel works.
